Basic WCBA Information

The Watauga County Beekeepers Association meets at 6:15 pm on the first Tuesday of each month, from February through November, in the downstairs meeting room of the Watauga County Extension Center (971 W. King St., Boone). The first hour of the monthly meeting consists of a guest speaker presentation. Guest speakers are experts in the field and provide information intended to advance the beekeeping skills of members. The second hour of the monthly meeting consists of the Association business meeting. Guests are welcome.

Because of the COVID19 pandemic, meetings have been suspended until further notice. The WCBA Executive Committee confers with the Watauga County Extension Center Director on a monthly basis to determine when meetings may resume. When it is decided that meetings can be safely resumed, members and the public will be immediately notified.
